No image available of the Angolan Hairy Bat The Angolan Hairy Bat was discovered by Thomas in 1912. It lives in South Africa in Angola, Mossamedes. It is currently (2003) listed as a vulnerable species of bat. There has been very little research conducted on this particular bat. They are thought to feed on insects, but also other food types such as fruit and seeds.
