Sclater's Tiny Mouse Shrew (Myosorex sclateri)

The Sclater's Tiny Mouse Shrew is currently listed as a vulnerable species. It was discovered in 1905 by Thomas and Schwann. It is classed as a forest shrew, and also known as "Sclater's Forest Shrew" or "Dark Footed Forest Shrew". There has been very little research carried out on Sclater's Tiny Mouse Shrew.

This particular species is endemic to South Africa.
